Today we’re talking to – Me!!!
It seemed churlish not to keep myself accountable, so I invite you to follow me on my own writing journey.
I have written and published a non-fiction book under a pseudonym, and wrote some software to help me with the process of organising and generating eBooks to send to Beta readers and upload to marketplaces such as Amazon.
I’m also writing a suite of ten Young Adult books, with enough ideas within that universe I have created to keep me going as a writer for many years to come.
I have also decided to work on that software again, with a view to helping other writers who need to be able to create and maintain a back catalog of books over the years.
In this episode I talk about how I came to be working on the four Young Adult books, how I drafted using dictation, and how I am now struggling to get the words down on the end of the first book, and my way of getting myself back in the habit again.
I also talk about the software that I wrote to get my first book out, and how I am starting back on this again, as I realize it can help me to help other writers who are writing book series, but also I can leverage it to help me streamline my podcast creation.
Here’s how you can get in touch – either follow me on Twitter or Instagram, or if you want to follow my work on my software, follow me on Twitter or on my FaceBook page.
About the Author
Simon
I'm an author of fiction and non-fiction books under various pseudonyms (in various states of publication / prevarication), and also creator of the Storizzi software for authors. It's a real joy to be able to talk to so many creative and entrepreneurial people as part of this podcast - Which is why I am 'paying it forward' by making them available to kind people like you!
